Michael McMullen: Founder & Managing Director; brings 20 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate development, capital funding and M&A to RocFin Capital. Over his career, Mr. McMullen has structured and closed more than $500 million in financial transactions across a variety of industries.
Prior to forming the firm, Mr. McMullen served as Chief Financial Officer of SomethingNow.com, an Internet B2B company providing on-line warranty and insurance products, where he raised more than $20 million in capital, negotiated and managed relationships with the nation's largest insurance companies, and transitioned the company to a NASDAQ 100 corporation. Additionally, Mr. McMullen served as a principal at the investment banking firm of Morrison & Kibbey, Ltd., where he specialized in private placements and corporate refinancing. Prior to entering investment banking, Mr. McMullen held various positions at Leema Enterprises, where he managed a series of buy/sell acquisitions valued at over $150 million, developed and executed a $50 million corporate reorganization strategy, and managed a $7 million R&D program in cooperation Sandia National Laboratories. |

Michael Salsbury: With over 30 years of international experience in various leadership positions across both countries and cultures in the United States, Switzerland, Austria, and Portugal, with companies ranging from recognized global leaders to entrepreneurial start-ups, Mr. Salsbury has developed a deep working knowledge and unique insight into all aspects of the banking, private banking, and wealth management industries. Mr. Salsbury has led both banks and wealth management companies, has chaired or served on nearly every bank and wealth management committee, and has experience with regulatory agencies in the United States and Europe.
Most recently Mr. Salsbury served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Geneva Private Wealth Advisors S.A. in Geneva, Switzerland, a boutique wealth advisory firm to Ultra-high-net-worth European and Middle East clients, and as President and Chief Executive Officer of American Riviera Bank in Santa Barbara, California, a private bank, both of which Mr. Salsbury was the Founder, CEO, and member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Salsbury also worked in a succession of executive positions over more than a decade with Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. including Managing Director with Merrill Lynch International, Inc. and Member of the Merrill Lynch Geneva Board, and Director and Head of European Private Banking with Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) S.A. both in Geneva, Switzerland. Earlier in his career Mr. Salsbury served as Director of Private and Offshore Banking with Banco Comercial Portugues in Lisbon, Portugal, and Managing Director and Country President with Arab Bank Limited (Austria) A.G. in Vienna, Austria. Mr. Salsbury graduated with a B.A. from Western State College and completed executive management and leadership programs at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, and The Center for Creative Leadership, San Diego, USA. Mr. Salsbury has served on numerous philanthropic boards throughout his professional career. |
